Desiree Cathleen Johnson

Desire Cathleen Johnson, 39, of Monticello died at her residence. She was born March 30, 1974 in Chicago and is survived by her father, Ralph Chvatal of Monticello. She graduated High School in Downers Grove, Illinois. She enjoyed making Indian Jewelry. She was very interested in geology and the preservation of the earth. Other survivors include her fiance, Gregory C. Wiening of Fort Wayne; and a son, Gavin Johnson of Flora. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at 2 pm (EDT), Saturday, April 13, at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview I.O.O.F Cemetery, rural Monticello. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
